This conference is the 1st international conference on kernel-based approximation methods in China. The objective of this conference is to provide a forum for scholars and students to meet and discuss current research of kernel-based approximation methods. This conference is organized by Prof. Yusheng Xu, Prof. Wen Li, and Prof. Qi Ye in May 19-21, 2017 at South China Normal University. The meeting will feature 20 invited speakers who will give 50 min survey lectures on topics of special current interest. In this conference, we will focus on research topics of machine learning.
